Obituary of Harold Clark

CLARK, Harold Frederick

On November 25, 2017, Harold Frederick Clark's family said goodbye to a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Harold was born in Woodstock, N.B. in 1933. He was pre-deceased by his son Kenneth Clark and his five siblings. Harold worked at Vale for 40 years and 6 months. He is survived by Beverley, his loving wife of fifty nine years. Also surviving is his cherished daughter Karen Horner (Brent), his grandchildren, Kyle Horner (Kathie Riley) and Mitchell Horner (Amanda) and Taylor Fast (Darrin). Each one of these children held a special place in Harold's heart. To add to his love and pride in his family, God gave him a wonderful great grandson Kaiden Horner, plus a great granddaughter soon to be born. Harold will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. The favourite part of Harold's life was spent at his cottage on Manitoulin Island where visits from his family and friends created many memories and traditions. Harold served a faithful and loving God. Visiting will take place at Essex Gospel Community Church, 335 Talbot Street South, Essex on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5-8 pm. Additional Visiting will take place at Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury (705-673-3611) on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11 am until time of Memorial Service to celebrate Harold's life at 1 pm. Officiated by Rev. Horner and Rev. Thompson. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cystic Fibrosis or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
